Blue Ridge Audubon is a chapter of the National Audubon Society, serving Buncombe, Henderson, and surrounding counties in the mountains of western North Carolina.
Our free program meetings, bird outings and special events are open to all -- members and non-members alike. We hope you'll join us!

Our third Saturday outings will now be at Lake Julian Park moving forward. Meet at the Lake Julian Park Extension parking lot, behind Wild Wing Cafe off of Long Shoals in Arden.

BIRDATHON
We are happy to announce that our Birdathon 2026 partner is once again SELVA Colombia! We will continue our fundraiser for environmental education and reforestation in Santa Maria, Boyacá to strengthen community engagement in bird tourism, restoration and protected area management.
SELVA has been working in the municipality of Santa Maria, Colombia, since 2014 to protect wintering Cerulean Warblers , as well as healthy populations of Canada Warbler, Acadian Flycatcher and other beloved migrants that summer in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
