FALCONRY EXPERIENCE

Sunday, September 27, 2026, 3:00 p.m.


Announcing the premier event of our Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary Renewal Project! Jeff Curtis, professional local Falconer, will host a Falconry experience that will excite and entertain as you learn about birds of prey. Jeff is renowned for providing a highly engaging and educational experience at Biltmore Estate as well as on his private property near Weaverville, NC.


The experience includes learning about the ancient sport of falconry, discovering how raptors are trained and handled, and an up-close and personal introduction to birds that Jeff has trained.


Two types of experiences are available:

Handlers will have the opportunity for the birds to land on their gloved arm. Reservation donations are $200 per person. (Maximum of 20 spots available)
