Join us for our regular Bird Outings! The third Saturday of each month is usually at Owen Park. But since Owen Park is currently closed due to damage sustained during Helene, we will be meeting at Main Street Nature Park in Weaverville this month. All outings are free and open to the public!

About the event

The Main Street Nature Park is located behind the Weaverville Town Hall and runs parallel to Main Street.

The park, encompassing 10 acres, is open to the public daily. Parking is available in several sites, including: Pine Street, Main Street, or behind the Weaverville Town Hall. The park has a walking trail, where dogs are permitted on leash. The park serves as a demonstration area for natural habitats for Western North Carolina flora and fauna and is home to the Town’s Second Saturday Summer Music Series, which is held on the meadow stage.
